ن الحادث وقع عند الساعة الخامسة من مساء اليوم ، وأن فرق الإنقاذ هرعت على الفور حيث تم إنقاذ عدد من الركاب بينهم ستة مصابين تم نقلهم للعلاج بمستشفى رشيد، وتم تشكيل غرفة عمليات وتكليف فرق البحث عن بعض المواطنين الذين تقدر أعدادهم بعشرات المواطنين طبقا لما ذكره شهود عيان .
